The Golden Witness

For this work I used the tension between solitude and connection as a starting point. A golden figure stands apart, glowing against the deep blue, while a couple moves through the urban space, present yet unaware of the silent observer beside them. The faceless figures invite the viewer to read their own story into the scene. Strong contrasts between warm gold, vibrant orange and electric blue give the composition its emotional charge. The thick, textured paint creates movement and immediacy, as if the moment is still unfolding.
